--Dramarama by Andrew Osborne
This short documentary about Middleboro High School's winning
participation in the Massachusetts HS Drama Guild won the attention of
Warner Brothers Studios, which is planning to produce a full-length
motion picture based on a script by Middleboro High School graduate
Andrew Osborne.

This award-winning film is inspired by a moving and tragic true story
of two black men on Death Row in Georgia. It was first presented as a
stage play and performed across the United States, including Herring
Run ArtsFest 2002. The play won the Samuel French New, Short Plays
Contest in New York. The playwright, Paula Caplan, chaired the theater
segment of ArtsFest 2002 and 2003.

A full-length coming-of-age documentary about one generation's search
to define their own roads in life, it includes interviews with
interesting and well-know characters collected on a U.S. cross-country
trip. It was featured at the Martha's Vineyard Film Festival, which is
organized by Tom Bena, formerly of Middleboro.
