The Herring Run ArtsFest Steering Committee is actively seeking new members for the planning and production of future Herring Run ArtsFest programs. An organizational meeting will be held on February 25, 2008, 6:30PM at the Middleborough Public Library. This meeting is open to all interested parties.
The Herring Run ArtsFest celebrates works by talented artists in music, theater, poetry, film and the visual arts. Since its inception in 2000 all events have been offered to the public at no charge.
“We are very proud of the world-class performances that we have presented in the previous seven Festivals. By bringing new members into the Steering Committee we plan to keep the Festival vibrant and successful for years to come,” said Susan Becker, one of the Festival’s founders.
In years past, the Herring Run ArtsFest has been funded by the
Massachusetts Cultural Councils of a number of area towns and cities
including Middleboro, Lakeville, Bridgewater and Brockton and by the
generosity of individual donors and corporate sponsors including the
Mayflower Bank and the Middleboro Rotary. For more information
